1. Does a Dentist pay to participate with your Service?
Yes, some Dentists pay to be listed on Dentster.com. Just like a Dentist
can pay to have an ad in the Yellow Pages or other forms of advertising.
2. What is the Dentster.com Certification Process
Dentster wants to make sure that you have a pleasant dental experience. You can be
confident that Dentists' that are certified have met our rigorous certification standards.
3. Do I need to pay for the Dentster service?
No, Dentster.com is provided to you the customer as a free service. Our goal is to
match you with your next great dentist.
4. What are the Top rated Offices?
These are the offices that patients have clicked on after performing a search. You
will see that some of these offices are certified and others are not. Our purpose is
to show you what other patients have considered as their dental choices.
5. How do I know what procedure I need?
You can use our Dental Dictionary (insert link here) to narrow down your choices. If
you are not sure of the procedure, choosing a General Practitioner is a good place to start.
6. What does the Dentist's rating mean?
The rating is a representation of what other patients have felt about their visit to that
Dentists. The more stars on the rating the better. Five stars is the highest rating possible.
7. How do I post a review about a Dentist?
After you have created your username and password for your account, you can post a review for your dentist. Dentster.com welcomes all honest and accurate reviews of your dental experience. Your review will be posted as long as it maintains a level of honesty, relevance and appropriate language.
8. Is there a difference between Gold Silver and Bronze?
Yes. Our paying members have subscribed to Dentster.com to advertise to their patient community. The different levels (Gold, Silver, Bronze) dictate what level of commitment the Dentists has to advertising. Similar to the Telephone Directory, some Dentists pay more for a bigger ad or more impressionable listing.
9. How do I know which Insurance the Dental Office Accepts?
Some of our members have provided Dentster with a list of insurance providers that they currently accept. If you do not see the name or logo of your coverage provider, the best thing to do is contact the office. It is always best to check with the office prior to visiting the office for an appointment.
10. What if a Dentist I want to visit does not accept my Insurance?
If you would like to see a Dentist that does not accept your insurance coverage, it is best to call the office and ask about payment arrangements. Most dental offices can arrange alternative methods of payment.
11. I do not see my Dentist listed at Dentster.com
Sometimes Denster.com does not have the latest information regarding all dental offices. If you do not see your dental office listed, or see that the information is incorrect, please have your Dentist contact Dentster.com. Whatever the discrepancy, Dentster will fix it.
12. How do I set an appointment with the Dental Office?
Once you have chosen an office using Dentster.com, you have two choices in order to set an appointment for your dental visit. The first choice is to hit the “contact office” button. This will give the dental office important information in order to set your appointment. Your second option is to just call the office to set up an appointment. Make sure to mention that you saw them on Dentster.com.
13. Contacting your Dentist
At any time you may call your Dentist office directly. You do not have to contact the office through Dentster for any appointments, scheduling changes, or questions you may have.
14. Why can’t I search by Insurance Provider?
Unfortunately, Dentster.com does not allow you to search for a Dental Office by Insurance Providers. If you need to search by Insurance provider, contact your coverage provider. They should be able to provide you with a list of the Dental Offices that participating providers.
